Stefano Guerra is a child neuropsychiatrist. He was a student of Sandro Gindro - psychoanalyst and founder of the Psychoanalytic Institute for Social Research (IPRS) - with whom he trained as a psychoanalyst, and contributed to several research projects of IPRS, still being part of the staff of the Institute. After his specialization, he collaborated with Arnaldo Novelletto and, together with Gianluigi Monniello, he created the outpatient clinic for adolescent psychotherapy at the Institute of Child Neuropsychiatry at the University of Rome. Chair Holder of Mental Hygiene and Child Psychiatry in Secondary Schools where he taught, also dealing with integrating students with disabilities. For many years he has been teaching specialization courses for support teachers, organized by Regional School Offices of different regions. He practiced until 2013 when he took over the role of school manager in high schools. He currently retired, devotes himself to studies, supervision of clinical cases, training health professionals, and volunteering.
